A simple chemical method for synthesis MgFe۲O۴ nanostructures

چکیده مقاله

MgFe2O4 nanoparticles were synthesized via a simple chemical reaction. Nanostructures were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The magnetic properties of the samples were investigated using alternating gradient force magnetometer. MgFe2O4 nanoparticles exhibit a ferrimagnetic behaviour with a saturation magnetization of 21 emu/g and a coercivity of 83 Oe at room temperature.
