Synthesis of Zn۳V۲O۸ nanostructures by co-precipitation approach: study of photocatalytic activity

چکیده مقاله

Zn3V2O8 nanostructures were synthesized via simple coprecipitation method of zinc nitrate and ammunium vanadate as the raw materials. The purity, crystalline phase and morphology of the nanostructures have been characterized by various techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Also the role of parameters such as surfactant, metal precursor and solvent type, pH, temperature and time of reaction, on the particle size, morphology and uniformity of the nanostructures were investigated. Finally photocatalytic activity of nanostructures has been reported.
