چکیده مقاله

In this work, ZnO and CuO graphene-based nanocomposites have been successfully prepared by pregraphenization method. Zn(acac)2 and Cu(acac)2 {(acac) = acetyl acetonate} were applied as starting materials to synthesize ZnO and CuO nanoparticles. For preparing graphene-based nanocomposites we applied pregraphenization method. The pre-graphenization is occurred by synthesis of thermally reduced graphene and subsequent impregnation of nanoparticles. Herein, photocatalytic performance of ZnO and CuO graphene-based nanocomposites under UV light irradiation were compared together and we know that the performance ZnO/graphene nanocomposite is better than CuO/graphene nanocomposite in this condition. Also, their applications of these composites were investigated and the obtained product characterized by means SEM, XRD, and UV-vis spectroscopy. This work is an attempt to do so using a cost-effective photocatalysts, being tested on removing a common dye (MO) under UV light irradiation.
