Preparation of Dy۲Ce۲O۷ Nanostructures via a Facile Sol-Gel Method

چکیده مقاله

In this study, Dy2Ce2O7 nanostructures synthesized via a new simple sol-gel method. The influence of some preparation parameters was investigated to reach optimum condition. Results of this research illustrate that morphology and size of the Dy2Ce2O7 could be greatly influenced by these parameters. The as-prepared Dy2Ce2O7 nanostructures were characterized by FT-IR, FESEM, EDS and XRD. Based on the obtained results, it was found that with the aid of this novel method can be prepared uniform spherical nanostructured. The photocatalyst activity of as-synthesized Dy2Ce2O7 was also examined by degradation of the organic Dy2Ce2O7 contaminant under ultraviolet light irradiation.
