چکیده مقاله

Despite of great attention concerned on ceramic nanostructures in bioapplications, little is known about the toxicity of these NPs at the cellular and molecular levels. In this work, mesoporous nanocomposite of CuCo2O4/CuO synthesized by sonochemical assistant thermal decomposition and the anti-cancer effect was studied as well. The environmental friendly method by surfactant free as well as low temperature was applied. A natural complex of copper-cobalt-coccus prepared by sonochemical method and finally decomposed thermally at 600 C. CuCo2O4/CuO mesoporous nanocomposites were successfully obtained through one-way reaction and characterized by; x-ray diffraction pattern (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). Furthermore, vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) was used to study the magnetic properties of CuCo2O4/CuO nanoparticles. MTT assay was performed in order to determine the anti-proliferative effect of CuCo2O4/CuO samples against 4T1 breast cancer cell lines. CuCo2O4/CuO nanoparticles induced dosedependent cytotoxic effects against 4T1 breast cancer cells with IC50 of 0.82 mg/ml. Nevertheless, it is essential to perform more investigations to find the exact related mechanisms.
