چکیده مقاله

Bi2S3 hierarchical columniform structures assembled by nanothorns have been first synthesized by a hydrothermal method through the reaction between bismuth(III) Monosalicylate [BiO(C7H5O3)] as the precursor and sodium thiosulfate (STS) in H2O at 180 oC without any surfactants. These new Bi2S3 structures were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy, photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectra, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Energy-Dispersive X-ray microanalysis (EDX). The influences of the synthetic parameters were discussed and a possible growth mechanism for the formation of these complex structures was proposed.
