Wereportatwo-stepsynthesisandstructuralcharacterizationofCdSe/CdScore/shell nanoparticlesbytheprecipitationmethod.Besides,theeffectsofpreparationparameters such asreactiontemperature,thespeedofthereactionstirrer,andtherateofadding sulfidesourceonthesize,morphology,andphotocatalystactivityofCdSe/CdScore–shell nanoparticleswerestudiedbySEMimagesanddegradationofmethylorange(MO)dye test. ThestructureandcompositionoftheobtainedproductswerecharacterizedbyX-ray diffraction (XRD),transmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM),high-resolutionfield-emission transmission electronmicroscope(HRTEM),photoluminescencespectroscopy(PL),scan- ning electronicmicroscopy(SEM),spectraenergydispersiveanalysisofX-ray(EDS),and ultraviolet–visible(UV–vis) techniques.
