Tellurium nanostructures: Simple chemical reduction synthesis,characterization and photovoltaic measurements

چکیده مقاله

Herein,wereportasimplechemicalreductionmethodatlowtemperaturetosynthesize differenttellurium(Te)nanostructuresincludingnanorodsandnanospheres.Inaddition, the effectofpreparationparameterssuchassolvent,surfactantandreducingagentonthe morphologyofTewasstudied.Theas-producedTenanostructureswereanalyzedby scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),transmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM),X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)andphotoluminescencespectroscopy(PL).Basedonthe morphologicalstudies,itwasfoundthatsphere-likeandrod-likenanostructuresofTe couldbeobtainedbyusingpotassiumborohydride(KBH4) andhydrazinehydrate (N2H4 H2O) asreducingagents,respectively.Ontheotherhand,veryuniformnanopar- ticlesofTehavebeenformedinthepresenceofthioglycolicacid(TGA)assurfactant. Wehavealsoinvestigatedthephotocurrentdensity–voltage(J–V) curveofTenanorods.
