چکیده مقاله
Abstract Present report focuses on the preparation and
characterization of Mn2O3 nanostructures. First, two different
manganese precursors were prepared by reaction
between manganese acetate tetrahydrate and phthalic acid
with molar ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 in solid phase. In the
second step, Mn2O3 nanostructures were obtained via a
simple solid-state thermal decomposition route. Furthermore,
the effect of calcination temperature and metal-toligand
ratio on the morphology and particle size of Mn2O3
was investigated. The crystalline structure and morphology
of the final products were studied by X-ray powder
diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and
transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Based on the
SEM and TEM images, it was found that by increasing the
metal to capping agent ration, particle sizes of the products
were decreased.
