Abstract
In the present paper, we consider a linear second-order differential equation of Sturm-Liouville type with one turning point of negative order, on a symmetric finite interval. We provide a constructing method to find the asymptotic formula for the eigenvalues of the boundary value problem consisting of the Sturm-Liouville equation with Dirichlet boundary condition
