چکیده مقاله
Technetium-99m (T1/2=6.01 h) is a gamma ray emitting isotope used in radioactive isotope medical tests, for example as a radioactive tracer that medical equipment can detect in the body. It is well suited to the role because it emits readily detectable 140 keV gamma ray. The short half-life of the isotope allows for scanning procedures which collect data rapidly. The, natMo(p, x)99mTc and 98Mo(d, n)99mTc reactions were calculated by TALYS-1.0 code. The calculated excites study obtains a suitable reaction to produce 99mTc. Technetium-99m excitation function via 100Mo (p, 2n) 99mTtion function of reactions was compared with the reported measurement and evaluations. Requisite thickness of targets was obtained by SRIM code for each reaction. The 99mTc production yield was evaluated with attention to excitation function and stopping power.
