The identification and ranking factors affecting the level of risk appetite among Kashan carpet manufacturing units' investors using TOPSIS technique

Risk phenomenon, like many human traits can be found in some human beings and the motivation and circumstances of the individual form it. The aim of this study was to determine the factors affecting the level of risk appetite of production units' investors in Kashan. The research method is descriptive. In order to collect the required data a researcher made questionnair e consisted of 61 questions was used. The study population consisted of all investors in Kashan carpet manufacturing units up to 120 people. Among them, 91 people randomly selected as sample. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between all suggested factors in this study and risk appetite of carpet manufacturing units' investo rs. Rating factors affecting the risk appetite via TOPSIS also showed that among the factors associated with risk appetite of investors, educational and psychological factors have the strongest relationship with risk appetite and then were economical facto rs, political factors, cultural factors and social factors.
