Synthesis and Optical Properties of Hydrophilic LaF۳:Ag Nanoparticles by Chitosan Encapsulation

چکیده مقاله

LaF3:Ag nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized by co-precipitation method and were characterized. The image of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the average crystallite size of LaF3:Ag NPs about 27 nm was confirmed using X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDAX) spectrometry have been carried out. The result of FTIR analysis reveals LaF3 NPs coated by Chitosan. The chitosan encapsulation of LaF3:Ag provides water solubility, biocompatibility, biodegradability and specific cell targeting for drug delivery applications
