چکیده مقاله

The effects of a magnetized plasma layer on electromagnetic wave scattering from a dielectric-coated metallic rod due to the excitation of surface plasmons are investigated. The graphs of surface-polarized charge densities and their variations on the boundaries of the mentioned object is analyzed. The cyclotron frequency as an effective factor on resonance frequencies, which are due to the excitation of the plasma surface mode scattering in the system, is investigated. In addition, the pattern of scattering and its dependency to the strength of the external magnetic field or cyclotron frequency have been simulated.
