Effect of follower force on nonlocal vibration of nanoplate

چکیده مقاله

In this research, the vibrational behaviors of graphene sheet resting on Pasternak foundation are studied. The classical plate theory is used to drive transverse motion equation. Nonlocal elasticity theory is applied to consider the effect of small scale parameter. Graphene sheet subjected to follower force as a sub-tangential force that can change the vibration response of sheet. Using Hamilton’s principle, the motion equation is obtained and solved by differential quadrature method (DQM). The effects of various parameters such as aspect ratio, thickness ratio, follower force, elastic medium and small scale parameter are investigated on the frequency of graphene sheet.
