چکیده مقاله

In this study, effect of viscoelastic foundation on nonlinear free vibration and instability of a smart composite cylindrical shell conveying viscous fluid using harmonic differential quadrature method (HDQM) is investigated. The shell is made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and reinforced by armchair boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) with characteristics of the equivalent composite being determined using micro-electromechanics models. A schematic diagram, of a piezoelectric polymeric cylindrical shell embedded in a viscoelastic foundation with two fixed ends is shown in Fig. 1 in which geometrical parameters of length, L middle surface radius, R and thickness h are also indicated.
