چکیده مقاله

In this paper, magneto-mechanical vibration of sandwich plate with magneto-rheological (MR) core and composite facesheets reinforced by uniform distribution of single-walled carbon nanotube (CNT) subjected to the external magnetic field is studied. The material properties of MR core are obtained by experimentally data and for nanocomposite facesheets, the extended rule of mixture are used. The equations of motion are derived using Hamilton’s principle and solved based on Navier’s procedure. The effects of various parameters such as magnetic field intensity, volume fraction of CNTs, thickness and aspect ratio on the vibration characteristics of sandwich plate are discussed in details. The results indicated that the Natural frequencies of sandwich plate is strongly dependent on core-to-facesheets thickness ratio. Also, the Natural frequencies can be improved by increasing volume fraction of CNTs. The results of this investigation can be used in design and manufacturing of military equipment and aircrafts.
