چکیده مقاله
This paper investigates the effect of boosting droop gain on stability of an autonomous microgrid.
Boosting droop gain improves power sharing accuracy while decreasing overall system stability.
Therefore, to use a high droop gain, a
new controller parallel to conventional one is proposed.
Applying this controller, oscillatory response of distributed generation (DG) output power is damped. This
control loop includes three gains and three lead-
lag compensators. Coordinated design of su
pplementary
control loops for each DG
is carried out in MATLAB by using Cuckoo Optimization Algorithm and the
microgrid is simulated in PSCAD software. Results show that the proposed strategy maintains system
stability even with high droop gains.
