چکیده مقاله

T he role of c ritic al thinking in s oc ial interac tion, everyday life, c ulture, and politic s is axiomatic . Communities s uc h as educ ational environments whic h benefit more from this remarkable s kill are more s uc c es s ful and more s table. T his s tudy applied obs ervation and in-depth interview on teac hers , adminis trative s taff, and s tudents of the leading and larges t high s c hools in Kas han (Iran) and it was as c ertained that there was a lac k of attention by high s c hool adminis trative s taff, teac hers , and s tudents towards the importanc e of c ritic al thinking s kill and its applic ation in c las s room, family, and s oc iety; henc e s oc ial and educational s etbac ks . Ac c ording to the res ults of the pres ent c as e s tudy, the nec es s ity of teac hing c ritic al thinking and paying c areful attention to it, as well as promoting the us e of c ritic al thinking in Iranian s tudents ac ademic lives s eemed to be one of the main priorities of educ ation in Iran. Prac tic ing s uc h s kills in teac hing-learning environm ent c an help prevent man y s oc ial and educ ation al problems .
