چکیده مقاله
The relationship between emotions and goals has always been in the limelight of
psychologists. Therefore, the kind
of goal that students choose is related to the
emotions that they experience. The purpose of the present research is to assess the
relationship between achievement goals and educational emotions of students in
Isfahan University. The research employed a d
escriptive and survey method and the
statistical population included all the male and female students studying in bachelor
degree of
Isfahan
University in the academic year of 2012
-
2013, out of which our
sample was selected through cluster sampling and res
ponded to goal orientation and
academic emotions questionnaires. Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple
regression were used to analyze the data. Results indicated that from among the
achievement goals subscales, mastery goals have significant role i
n the explanation
of learning enjoyment. Moreover, the relationship between the subscale of
performance, avoidant goals and hope was significant. Furthermore, avoidant goals
had significant had significant role in the explanation of anxiety. None of the
ac
hievement goals showed to have significant relationship with fatigue. Overall,
results indicate that, mastery goals constitute the positive emotions and avoidant
goals constitute the negative emotions.
