DE sinc collocation method for solving the Bagley-Torvik equation with variable coefficients

چکیده مقاله

In this paper, we discuss the numerical solution of special class of fractional two-point boundary value problems named Bagley-Torvic equations. We applied a sinc-collocation method incorporated with the Double Exponential (DE) transformation to obtain the approximate solution of these problems. By this method a convergence rate of an exponential order is achieved. Numerical examples are included to conrm the validity and accuracy of the technique and a comparison is made with exicting results in the latest literature.
