Abstract

In this manuscript, stiffened carbon / epoxy composite cylinders under external hydrostatic pressure will be examined to minimize mass and maximize buckling pressure. The new approach proposed in this paper is single objective optimization of stiffened composite cylindrical shell under external pressure by genetic algorithm
