Todays, Hydrogen technology utilizing as a clean carrier has been addressed in focused researches by inducing various methods like hydrocarbon reforming especially methanol steam reforming. In this study, micro flat-plate reactor has been designed to performance investigation of making a homogenous layer of CuO/ZnO/Al2O3. The nano catalyst has been synthesized through Co-Precipitation and then was suspended as post preparation. The prepared catalyst including mean pore size distribution about 15 nm showed satisfying performance and good stability during 17 hours. In next step, wash coating was adopted to make a catalytic wall-coated plate as reaction bed. In this way, weight percent of PVA (as an organic binder) was optimized through investigation of layer quality according to the weight losing after ultrasonic bath treatment. The solids concentration in the suspension were optimized about 10% and 1% wt. as catalyst powder and binder agent, respectively. After Coating, various investigations were performed and optimum conditions of reaction and synthesizing were characterized by determine of activity, selectivity, hydrogen yield and reduction behavior. Among those, the activity of the coated layer showed better performance than packed bed module but reversely working in CO content. The Micro-Reactor via parallel channel was machined due to low pressure drop, totally yields 76.2% and 1.4% as methanol conversion and CO selectivity, respectively. The results, exhibited high potential micro-reactor performance replacing to the traditional models through decentralization of power plant. It can be received by developing mass and heat transfer by miniaturization of the resistive layer.
