چکیده مقاله

In this study, a group of nickel catalysts supported on a mesoporous γ-Al2O3 with different Ni content was prepared and employed in glycerol dry reforming. The results revealed that increasing in Ni loading from 10 to 20 wt.%, decreased the specific surface area of catalysts from 177 to 143 m2/g and increased the nickel crystalline size from 12 to 19 nm. Moreover, the catalytic activities of different catalysts were investigated and the results revealed that 15 wt. % Ni/Al2O3 possessed optimum catalytic activity among all catalysts. Finally, the stability of catalyst with optimum activity was investigated during 20 hours of reaction at 700 oC and the results showed that it was almost stable after a constant decline in catalyst activity during the first 5 hours of reaction.
