چکیده مقاله

Nanostructured magnesiumsilicatewithhighBETsurfaceareaandmesoporousstructurewaspreparedbyahydrothermalmethodusing polyethylene glycol(PEG)assurfactantandmagnesiumnitrateandsodiumsilicateaqueoussolutionasmagnesiumandsilicatesources, respectively. Theeffectsofdifferentparameterssuchashydrothermaltreatment,reactiontemperature,pH,ethanol/PEGratioandetc.onthe structural propertiesofthesynthesizedsamplewereexamined.ThepreparedsampleswerecharacterizedbyX-raydiffraction(XRD),N2 adsorption (BET)andscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)techniques.TheresultsindicatedthathydrothermaltreatmentincreasedBETsurface area from290to394.2m2/g andtransferamorphousphasetocrystalline.Also,increasinginagingtemperature,agingtime,pHvalueand ethanol/PEG ratiodidnotchangesurfaceareabyspecific procedure,whereasincreasingcalcinationtemperaturedecreasedsurfacearea. Furthermore, hydrothermaltreatmentandincreasinginpHvaluewillchangehysteresisloop.ThehighestBETsurfaceareaobtainedinthispaper is 619.8m2/g.
