Exact Solution for Electro-Magneto-Mechanical Behavior of Embedded Composite Cylinder Under Non-axisymmetric Pressure

چکیده مقاله

In this study, two-dimensional electro-magneto- mechanical analysis of a thick-walled composite cylinder placed in uniform magnetic and electric fields is investigated. Hollow cylinder made of poly- vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) reinforced by carbon nanotubes (CNTs) embedded in Pasternak foundation as elastic medium. Distribution of radial, circumferential, shear and effective stresses and electric displacements in hollow composite cylinder are determined. Results of this investigation can be applied for optimum design of thick-walled cylinders under non-axisymmetric pressure and electro-magnetic fields
