چکیده مقاله
In this study, entropy generation in rectangular cavities with different aspect ratios filled with nanofluid is numerically investigated. The governing equations are discretized using the finite volume method and SIMPLER algorithm. The convection terms are discretized using hybrid scheme and a second order central difference scheme is employed for diffusion terms. The results show by increasing the volume fraction of nanoparticles and aspect ratio, the average Nusselt number on the hot wall increases. By increasing the volume fraction of nanoparticles, the total entropy generation decreases. Increasing aspect ratio and decreasing Ri number leads to enhanced convection, thus the total entropy generation increases
