Toward Optimization of Availabilty and Cost in Selection of Geo-Distributed Clouds Datacentes

as clouds in different geographic areas are growing increasingly, datacenters for these clouds are distributed in different geographical area accordingly. Selection of an optimal datacenter for users is found to be a challenging issue. The present research aims to combines the K-means clustering and multi-objective algorithm NSGA-II to maximize availability and minimizes costs in selecting a datacenter. The proposed approach was adopted to real geographically distributed datacenters. Results showed that proposed approach outperforms greedy and random methods.
