Abstract: The treatment of water contaminated with traces of toxic compounds is a common problem throughout the world. There is a challenge in the photocatalytic powder separation and filtration at the end of the Purification cycle that it is economically expensive and difficult and it haven’t been used in industrial scale. The paper presents for the first time results of the investigation of photocatalytic activity of coating of thin film of titania instead of powder applied on stainless steel powder. Titania thin film coatings were prepared by the sol–gel method from titanium Tetran-buthylortotitanate. for the first time the dip-coating technique was used for the application of the sol onto surface stainless steel powder that is placed on the glass surface is held by a magnet and purification by passing wastewater from the fixed bed reactor is designed in the presence of visible light to be performed.
