Application of electrochemical techniques at a nanostructure-based modified sensor for analyte quantitation

چکیده مقاله

The present paper is the report for the electrochemical determination of antibiotic drugs such as ciprofloxacin (CF). A glassy carbon electrode, modified with graphene nanosheets (GNS/GCE) was used for the determination of CF. The results revealed that the modified electrode shows an electrocatalytic activity toward the anodic oxidation of ciprofloxacin by a marked enhancement in the current response and the shift in the oxidation potential to lower values in comparison with the bare GCE. The detection limit for CF was found to be 33.0×10-9 M. The prepared electrode was successfully applied to the determination of CF in real samples
