چکیده مقاله

n the current research, N–S-codoped anatase thin films TiO2(NSTO), which was characterized by X-ray diffraction, is used as a photo-catalyst for photocatalytic degradation of basic red 46 dye. The novel glass balls fixed-bed reactor system was used to examine the photo-catalytic activates of N–S-codoped TiO2 under visible light. Reaction parameters such as pH of reaction, volume of dye solution, and exit flow rate of dye solution were changed to obtain maximum degradation of basic red 46 dye under visible light irradiation. The degradation results showed that the degradation rates of basic red 46 dye by NSTO are strongly influenced by all the above parameters. The structural, morphological, and optical properties of as-obtained products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis, and ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy.
