چکیده مقاله

tIn this study, the Schiff’s base of 2-{[(Z)-1-(2-methoxyphenyl) ethylidene] amino}-1-benzenethiol(MPEAB) was synthesized. By cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS),the electrochemical behavior of self-assembled monolayer of Schiff’s base on a bare gold electrode (AuMPEAB SAM electrode) was investigated. Also, the surface pKa, adsorption kinetics, equivalent circuitmodel and capacitance detection investigated by EIS method in 0.1 mol L−1PBS containing 5.0 mmol L−1[Fe(CN)6]3−/4−. The EIS complex plane plots showed a drastic change in the charge transfer resistance ofthe probe redox reaction as a function of UO22+concentration. This behavior was used for constructionof the calibration curve, and a linear range from 1.0 to 40.6 nmol L−1UO22+with a detection limitof 0.21 nmol L−1and a relative standard deviation (RSD) of 1.17% for n = 4 at 1.0 nmol L−1UO22+wasobserved.
