A non-standard finite difference method for a biological system

چکیده مقاله

In this paper, a biological system, corresponding to the dynamic of phytoplankton-nutrient interaction under nutrient recycling, is solved numerically using a non-standard finite difference(NSFD) method. This new discrete system produces positive solution and has the same properties as the continuous model. Through discrete Lyapunov function, the global asymptotical stability of the steady-state solutions is determined. Finally, numerical simulations are provided the illustrate the theoretical results.
