چکیده مقاله

It is very important to determine synthetic dyes in industrial products because of the potential harm they can incur to human beings. Using reduced-graphene oxide/CoFe12O19-ionic liquid nanocomposite (IL/CoFe12O19/GO/CPE), a modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) is prepared and used for fast, sensitive and selective analysis of Acid Green 25 (AG 25) as a cosmetic and textile dye. The electrochemical response characteristics are investigated by voltammetric techniques such as cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry. Under optimum conditions, 500 µM AG 25 with the scan rate of 50 mV s −1 in phosphate-buffer solutions (PBS) (0.1 M, pH7.0), the calibration curve for AG 25 changes linearly with concentrations ranging from 0.08 to 900 µmol L −1 . The detection limit of 0.067 µmol L −1 for AG 25, which is significantly lower than those formerly reported, is obtained. The electro-transfer coefficient (α) and the values of D were found to be 0.84 and 87×10 −5 cm 2 s −1 , respectively. In addition, experiments were carried out in order to measure the AG 25 well in the presence of Brilliant Blue FCF (BB-FCF); and the obtained results showed that these two dyes can be measured together using the suggested sensor. The results, such as high sensitivity and selectivity, and high reproducibility attained from the used electrode sensor, make it a very suitable novel sensor for the determination of AG 25 and BB-FCF, which can be successfully applied in commonly-used commercial products such as hair dyes and in wastewater samples.
