چکیده مقاله

We study, the effect of electric field on the edge magnetism of the triangular gaphene quantum ring (GQR) by using the single-band tight binding Hamiltonian and the mean-field Hubbard model. Our results show that the total spin and magnetic configuration of the GeRs can be selectively tuned by extemal electric field strength and distribution. The magnetic edge states at the inner and outer edges ofthe GeRs show different evolution as a function of electric fleld. Therefore, the total spin of GQRs is found to depolarize differently than the total spin of dots due to the inner edges ofthe graphene rings.
