Nano-Fe۳O۴@SiO۲@APTPOSS core–shell composite as an efficient nanocatalyst for the one-pot synthesis of ۱,۳-thiazolidin-۴-one derivatives under ultrasonic irradiation

چکیده مقاله

A highly efficient method for the synthesis of 1,3-thiazolidin-4-ones using Fe3O4@SiO2@APTPOSS nanoparticles in PhMe under ultrasonic irradiation is described. Octakis[3-(3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane)propyl] octasilsesquioxane (APTPOSS) as a polyhedral oligomericsilsesquioxanes derivative was prepared and used to obtain core/shell composite using Fe3O4 nanoparticles as the core and the organic-inorganic hybrid polyhedral oligomericsilsesquioxanes as the shell. Fe3O4@SiO2@APTPOSS was confirmed by infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), x-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy, vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM).
