چکیده مقاله

In thepresentstudy,dye-sensitizedsolarcells(DSSCs)werefabricatedbysensitizingTiO2 P25-basedelectrodesusingaseriesofnaturaldyeextractedfromplantsourcesof Reseda luteola, Berberisintegerrima, Panica granatum Pleniflora, Consolidaorientalis, Reseda gredensis, Clemetis orientalis, Adonisflammea, Salvia sclarea, and Consolidaajacis. The optical propertiesofthenaturaldyeextractswereinvestigatedbyUV–vis spectroscopy. The crystallinestructureandmorphologicalcharacteristicofTiO2 electrodewereanalyzed by XRDandSEM,respectively.OurfindingsshowedthatduetoDelphinidinisthemain pigmentof C. ajacis and interactionbetweenthehydroxylgroupsoftheDelphinidinand the TiO2 surfaceisveryefficient,thissensitizerownsthebestphotovoltaicperformance amongtheallnaturaldyes.Photoelectrochemicalperformanceofthenaturaldyesbased- DSSCs illustratedshort-circuitphotocurrent(Jsc) andopen-circuitvoltages(Voc) ranging from 0.004to0.68mAand0.37to0.64,respectively.
