چکیده مقاله

2-aminothiazoles are known as important intermediates in the synthesis of organic compounds such as azothiazole dyes. Although azothiazole synthesis has long been considered, but there are limitations in the synthesis of dyes, such as the use of mineral acids, having low temperature and adjusting the reaction temperature, the long time reaction and the low efficiency of the product [1]. In this research, for the synthesis of 2-amino-5-aryl-azothiazoles, 2-aminothiazole reaction has examined with salt azo aromatic amines. For the synthesis of this class of organic dyes and improved reaction conditions, sulfonated montmorillonite nanocatalyst is used as support solid acid SO3H-activated nanoclay (MMT-SO3H) was prepared with montmorillonite K10 as template and chlorosulfonic acid as a SO3H source (Scheme 1).
