On MLS Conjecture for finite groups

Most of the wellknown publickey cryptosystems which are still unbroken are based on certain problems in large finite abelian groups, such as the multiplicative group of units in the ring Z pq with p, q primes or the multiplicative group of a finite field. Magliveras in the late of 1970's introduced a privatekey cryptosystem called Permutation Group Mappings, abbreviated by PGM. In this talk our recent result on this conjecture are reported.
