Maximum and Second Maximum of Randic Index in the Class of Tricyclic Graphs

Let G be a graph. The Randic index of G is defined as the summation of p dG(u)dG(v) over all edges uv of G, where dG(x) denotes the vertex degree of x in G. The aim of this paper is to compute the first and second maximum of Randic index in the class of all n-vertex tricyclic graphs.
