چکیده مقاله
In this study, the magnetized nano-dextrin-supported boron trifuoride (nano-Fe3O4@dextrin/BF3) as a green biopolymerbased catalyst is synthesized in two steps. In the frst step, nano-dextrin is magnetized (nano-Fe3O4@dextrin), and in the second step, the BF3 is supported to the obtained nano-Fe3O4@dextrin. The structure of nano-Fe3O4@dextrin/BF3 is characterized by diferent techniques, including Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectroscopy, X-ray difraction (XRD) pattern, energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imaging, mapping, vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA/DTG). The catalytic efciency was also investigated in the synthesis of biologically active polyhydroquinoline derivatives via Hantzsch condensation reaction of aromatic aldehydes, dimedone, ethyl acetoacetate, and ammonium acetate under solvent-free conditions. The structure of products was confrmed by their melting points (MP), FT-IR, and 1 H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. This procedure enjoys advantages such as short reaction time, clean and fast work-up, and easy separation of the catalyst by an external magnet
