Effects two Irrigation Methods on Phenolic Compounds and Antioxidant Activity of (Rosa damascena Mill)

Phenolic compounds (flavonoids, tannins, and anthocyanins) are the most important natural antioxidants. Rosa damascene Mill. Is one of the most medicinal plants, which has been used in Iranian ancient and were cultivated traditionally in different parts of Iran. The present study was conducted to investigate the quantitative and qualitative properties of phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity of Rosa damascene Mill under two irrigation methods (drip and flood irrigation).
