چکیده مقاله

NOx removal is investigated over CeO2-MOx binary oxide nanocatalysts in catalytic reduction of NOx with ammonia. The CeO2-MOx binary oxides (M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni and Cu) with different M/Ce+M molar ratios (0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1) are prepared by sol-gel method. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Temperature Programmed Reduction with H2 (H2-TPR) analyses are conducted to characterize the physical-chemical properties of the catalysts. Experimental results showed that CeO2-MnOx (0.25) nanocatalysts yield best performance (83% NOx conversion and 68% N2 yield at low temperature of 200 °C) than other binary oxides. The low temperature NH3-SCR catalyst developed in this paper is able to working in downstream of the dust removal and/or desulfuration devices without the need for reheating.
