چکیده مقاله

The present talk is intended to provide post-graduate students with valuable information about the functions as well as the linguistic forms of the small steps in each subsection of the Methodology Chapter. Drawing on valuable insights from genre-based discussions of the above issue (e.g. Norris, Plonsky, Ross, & Schoonen, 2015; Paltridge & Starfield, 2007), presenters will brief the audience, using illustrative real examples, on how to pay careful attention to particular details of the Methodology Chapter that “answer research questions, support conclusions, make studies amenable to critical evaluation, and contribute otherwise to the accumulation of credible knowledge” (Norris et al., 2015, p. 471).
